When visiting family and friends in Pittsburgh, PA, we got the chance to shoot our niece Kelly’s Senior portrait photos. We were really excited to be able to shoot in the city of Pittsburgh, and work with our sweet Kelly. We traveled all around the downtown area. First, we snuck into a hotel to take some pictures with their grand piano. Kelly has played piano for years, so it was nice to have an available prop. Then, we walked down town to Point State Park, and stopped by some available architecture along the way. Kelly’s Mom, Julie, pointed out that the bridge near PNC Park was closed because of the Pirates game. We ran over to the bridge for some pictures just as the sun was setting. It was so much fun to shoot on the bridge, and Kelly was very brave to stand for her photos while all the baseball fans were filtering out from the stadium. For some last pictures to end the evening, we went up to the Mt. Washington overlook. The sun had set, and the gorgeous skyline proved to be a great background for some last shots.
Kelly, it was so much fun to work with you (and the family) for your Senior photos. Good luck in your senior year at Gateway!
