Kasia and Ryan were married on an extremely rainy day this past October. The sun didn’t show for even a moment, and much of the day was spent darting in and out of buildings. Still, Kasia and Ryan barely even seemed to notice. We started our day with Ryan as he and his groomsmen got ready, and then traveled to Kasia’s family home for her getting ready pictures. The ceremony actually took place at the pretty little chapel at the YMCA in Silver Bay. Then, family and friends gathered at the Lake George Club for the reception. Metro Music was on hand for an evening of dancing and fun! One of our favorite parts about photographing weddings is our ability to experience a different culture every week. Kasia and Ryan’s wedding included many traditions related to Kasia’s Polish heritage, and quite a few of the wedding quests actually flew over from Poland to be a part of the experience.
Congratulation on your wedding, and good luck in your new lives together!
~ Sincerely – Allison & Tim
I don’t know if it was coincidence or on purpose, but Kasia and Ryan matched their church perfectly!
The church provided the perfect backdrop for some indoor formals.
After the ceremony, we raced back to the Lake George Club for the reception. Kasia and Ryan stayed in the balcony of the club for some photos of just the two of them.
We then snuck down to the basement of the club (through the kitchen of course), for a few more.
