For Christian and Kristin’s wedding we traveled way up into the heart of the Adirondacks, up near Tupper Lake. One of our favorite aspects of photographing weddings is our opportunity to travel to beautiful locations and unique venues. Christian and Kristin’s wedding definitely falls into that category. Their wedding took place at the Wild Center, a nature museum devoted to connecting people to the natural world of the Adirondacks. Kristin is originally from the area – she grew up in the tiny town of Long Lake nearby. Therefore, it made sense for their wedding to take place in her hometown. We spent a little time with Kristin at her parent’s house, and then we traveled to the Wild Center for both the ceremony and the reception. Even though it was a bit chilly outdoors, the beauty of the surrounding nature made up for it. Kristin and Christian now live near the NYC area, and their friends and family were there to celebrate and dance! The Adirondack DJ kept the dance floor packed, Time Capsule Photobooth was there taking pictures (some of the props made it onto the dance floor, see below), and the Saratoga Wedding Videographer was there to capture their wedding on video.
It was clear that these two were absolutely in love, and I think their photos reflect that love. Congratulations!

It was peak season that weekend in October. The leaves were so beautiful.
After the ceremony, Christian and Kristin took a stroll along the “rainbow bridge,” along the back of the Wild Center.
Both the bridesmaids were Kristin’s sisters, and both the groomsmen were Christian’s brothers.
Doesn’t the Wild Center look amazing? It’s a great location for a wedding reception.
