The last time we were with Marisa and Jim, it was a cold, blustery day this past February for their engagement pictures.
Marisa and Jim were married this past summer at the Appel Inn, in Altamont, NY. I know we always say that all our couples are lovely, but Marisa and Jim were particularly nice. Jim is a Science teacher, and we love teacher weddings (Allison is a teacher also). We started our day at Jim’s sister’s house for a few photos of the guys. Then, we traveled to Marisa’s family home for some pictures with her bridesmaids, and her three adorable flower girls. Both the wedding and their reception were at the Appel Inn, a fantastic location with a small stream, a big old house, and a round barn. Music Man Mike was on hand in the evening to keep the party going despite a tornado warning and some inconvenient rain.
We had a fantastic time working with the both of you, and we wish you both all the best!
~ Sincerely – Allison & Tim
Jim has six sisters, and several were on hand to help him get ready.
I know it’s been said before, but aren’t those flower girls the cutest?!
One of their friends serenaded them with a song during the wedding…
As the rain threatened to make an appearance, we dashed over to the barn for some pictures.
The reception hall was decorated beautifully with elements of the outdoors.
Isn’t the Appel Inn’s barn gorgeous inside and out?
